How far in advance do I need to book? Toggle entry

The earlier you inquire about your event, the more choice you'll have regarding rooms and dates. For larger events such as conferences, training courses or multi-day workshops, we recommend several weeks' notice, especially if you have specific dates in mind. Smaller meetings can often be arranged with less notice. If your date is short notice, just get in touch – we'll do everything we can to make it happen.

Does BZ-Business Center have parking spaces for participants and speakers? Toggle entry

We offer our own underground parking spaces at Großneumarkt – please get in touch if you are interested! Public parking (fees apply) is available directly in front of the building and in the side streets around Großneumarkt.
The Michel-Garage and CONTIPARK underground parking garages at the German-Japanese Center are 500 meters away.
You can also book short- and long-term parking spaces in our neighboring building via www.parcandi.de.
This makes the location in Hamburg's Neustadt district particularly suitable for conferences, training courses, or meetings with participants arriving by car.

Can I easily and quickly arrive by public transport? Toggle entry

Bus lines 16 and 17 stop right outside our door (Michaeliskirche stop), the St. Pauli and Roedingsmarkt subway stations are just a few minutes' walk away, and the Stadthausbruecke S-Bahn station is just a stone's throw away. The journey from the main train station takes 4 minutes. From the airport, the S-Bahn takes 30 minutes.

We have a limited number of discounted hotel rooms available at Citadines Hotel am Michel across the street. You'll also find other hotels in all price ranges within walking distance.

Do I have to / Can I book catering for my event? Toggle entry

We offer various catering options. Depending on the format and duration, the following are possible, for example:

  • Coffee breaks with hot drinks, water, and soft drinks

  • Small snacks or finger food for short breaks

  • Catered lunch breaks

  • Individual solutions for all-day or multi-day events

We are open to all your requests, whether savory, sweet, vegan, gluten-free, or an exotic mix. Tell us your budget, and we'll put together a menu that will satisfy both your taste buds and your wallet. It's also possible to order your own catering. Just let us know.

Yes, you can flexibly combine all of the rooms. E.g.: a large room as a plenary space for welcomes, presentations, or group sessions and additional rooms as breakout spaces for workshops, group work, or confidential discussions.

It depends on the event format and the seating arrangement (format and tables, if needed). Our largest conference room Raum am Michel can accommodate up to 199 people. If not all participants need to be in the same room at the same time, more than 200 people can attend an event at BZ-Business Center.
